Our vision and mission are possible through our clients' trust and commitment to strengthening and healing. We acknowledge with deep appreciation the crucial roles of Porter Cason Institute's staff, Director Richard Ager, Assistant Director Parker Sternbergh, LCSW, and Ms. Bonnie Lister.
We are proud to say that we have put our passion and mission into action. With the support of our trainers and supervisors, we have over 60 counselors who will have completed the externship and 35 counselors who have competed core skills. Seven of our members are certified through the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy. We now have two certified supervisors, Tanya Radecker, MS, RN, LPC-S, NCC and Michele Louviere, LMFT, and an approved supervisor in training, Steve Bordelon, LCSW.
The Louisiana EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) Community, was founded in 2015 to promote EFT learning and support. Most of the members trained from 2013 through 2015 through the Porter-Cason Institute of Tulane School of Social Work in New Orleans, La. Through the guidance of Parker Sternbergh, LCSW, of Porter Cason Institute, EFT trainer George Faller, LMFT, and Karen Giunta, LMFT, inspired and taught first two groups of EFT counselors.
